KINGMAN –At the February meeting of the Kingman Morning Glories, a check in the amount of $500 was presented to the Kingman Cancer Care Unit. The check was accepted by Claire Crum, President KCCU, along with other members of the organization.  Ms. Crum was our featured speaker for the month.  She told how the Cancer Care Unit assists, both physically and financially, individuals of all ages who are dealing with cancer in any stage.  The non-profit group has 80 members and is solely dependent on fundraising and volunteers.

Morning Glories meets the third Thursday of each month (dark June, July and August) at 10 a.m. at St. John’s United Methodist Church multi purpose room, 1730 Kino Ave.

Morning Glories would like to invite you to their club meeting.  Each month they have a person of interest speak from a local business, charity or organization. There is no charge to attend.  The focus of the organization is to give scholarships to local high school graduates.  They also donate to local charities and philanthropic organizations.  Funds to support these donations are raised through a variety of activities and raffles.
