LAKE HAVASU CITY – No one was hurt in a residential structure fire over the weekend in Lake Havasu City. Firefighters responded at 12:22 a.m. Sunday to the incident in the 3900 block of Smokey Drive.

“The occupants discovered the back patio on fire and smoke in the residence,” a news release stated. “The occupants and their dogs evacuated the house safely.”

Officials said four engine companies, one truck company and a Battalion Chief gained control of the fire within 31 minutes. Its cause is under investigation.
