LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) has released the name of the Fort Mohave man who was killed in a weekend traffic accident about 14 miles north of Lake Havasu City. Dylan Marsh, 25, was dead at the scene of the two-vehicle, head-on collision reported just after 9:00 p.m. Saturday near the junction of SR 95 and Interstate 40.
SPS spokesman Bart Graves said Marsh was driving a sedan northbound in the southbound lane on an undivided stretch of highway 95 as an eighteen-wheeler approached from the other direction.
“As the vehicles got closer to each other, the tractor-trailer tried to avoid the collision by swerving into the northbound lane,” Graves said. “The sedan also swerved into the northbound lane where it collided head-on.”
The southbound lane of the highway at the accident site was closed for several hours. An investigation continues.
