KINGMAN – The Kingman police department is investigating a fatality involving a train striking a person. Police chief Rusty Cooper said a westbound freight train encountered a man sitting on the railroad tracks about 11:00 p.m. Saturday in the 2100 block of Andy Devine Avenue.

Cooper said the man didn’t move when personnel aboard the train blared its horn. The name of the 30-year-old Kingman man who was killed is withheld initially.
