KINGMAN – As summer ends, there’s plenty of fun events planned to take your mind off of the fast-approaching cooler months!
Every Saturday, Mr. D’z Route 66 Diner is hosting their Car Enthusiasts Breakfast from 7 am to 9 am. All years, makes, and models of cars welcome. Come hungry to Mr. D’z Route 66 Diner located at 105 E Andy Devine Avenue. For more information, please call (928) 718-0066.
Thunder-Rode is hosting a Farmers Market open on Saturdays from 8 am to 12 pm (or last one out). Head over to Thunder-Rode Motorcycle Accessories at 102 Beale Street to participate or contact Sheri Shaw at (623) 249-1157 for more information.

On Sunday August 8th, the Hualapai Mountain Park, located at 6250 Hualapai Mountain Road, will be hosting a Craft Fair and Swap Meet. Beat the heat and travel up the mountain to Rec. Area #1 starting at 9 am until 3 pm. The craft fair is free to the public. Call (928) 681-5700 for more information.
On Wednesday August 11th, Stringtown Duo will be playing live at the Cellar Door from 7 pm to 10 pm. Stringtown Duo is a violin/guitar duo that performs Irish, Klezmer, Bluegrass, and Pop/Rock music. Children are welcome! Stop by at 414 Beale Street or call (928) 753-3885 for more information.
There will be a drum circle open to the public on August 12th at 6:30 pm. Playing the drums can help people express themselves and get in touch with their emotional state. Drumming helps us connect to our core, enhance our sense of empowerment, and stimulate our creative expression. Cash’d Out, a Johnny Cash tribute band, will be performing at the Mohave County Fairgrounds on August 13th! Gates will open at 6 pm for food, beverages, and seating, and the concert will begin at approximately 7:30pm. Parking is free and concert tickets are $20. And on August 21st and 22nd, Stetson Winery will have their 7th Annual Grape Stomp! Festivities include a parade of Corvettes at 11 am on the 21st, beginning at the intersection of Painted Rock Rd and Brooks Blvd and ending at Stetson Winery. There will also be a celebration of the newly hard-surfaced Brooks Blvd with a recognition of County Officials who aided in accomplishing this feat. The Grape Stomp is scheduled to begin immediately after this recognition. Entertainment and festivities will be from 12 pm to 6 pm Saturday and Sunday.
