MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested Robert Scott Rockwood, 40, of Mohave Valley, for Dangerous Drug Possession for Sale, Narcotic Drug Possession, Drug Paraphernalia Possession, and an active felony arrest warrant.

On Tuesday (8/3) at 11:20 PM, deputies were patrolling on S. Apache Parkway in Topock and observed a grey sedan driving in the area. A records check revealed the vehicle to have expired registration and insurance. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, identified as Rockwood, and a female passenger quickly exited the vehicle. Rockwood initially gave deputies a false name but disclosed to deputies that he had a felony warrant.

Rockwood was detained and deputies observed a black pouch clipped to his belt loop. The pouch contained eight grams of heroin, two grams of methamphetamine, a Xanax pill, a digital scale, and other drug paraphernalia. Deputies located Rockwood’s identification in the vehicle and confirmed the felony warrant for probation violation.

Robert Scott Rockwood was arrested and transported to the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility in Kingman without incident.
