KINGMAN – Dig-It Community Garden has received a donation of $2500 from the American Woodmark Foundation for improvements on the garden facility. Denise Neath, Children’s Garden and Event Organizer, said the funds would be applied toward adding another keyless entry gate. The garden currently has one keyless entry gate artistically adorned with ornate metalwork.
The garden will also use the funds to add to its solar power capabilities. Currently, the entire garden facility is powered by solar power, and as the garden grows, so will its need for a growing solar power capability.
