KINGMAN – Are you looking for a fun family and community-centered event? Then join us for an exciting evening of drumming! The Learning Center for Human Development, a 501 c(3) non-profit Educational organization, is presenting a beneficial and stimulating opportunity for everyone in the community!
The drumming circles take place every other Thursday in Metcalfe Park at the pavilion, located at 315 W Beale Street. The next circle will take place on September 9th from 7:30-8:30 pm. Feel free to bring your own drum and just bring yourself. Even listening has its benefits!
Drumming enhances your health and well-being. Scientific research reveals drumming can boost the immune system by releasing “feel-good” endorphins, stimulate the release of negative emotions, and has a positive effect on anxiety, grief, depression, and fatigue.
Our facilitators are Joyce Mollenhauer and Deborah Adler. Mollenhauer is a registered nurse with a BSN in Nursing, a Doctor of Naturopathy, and a Nurse Coach, and Adler is a singer-songwriter with a BFA in Theater Arts, an MFA in Acting, and 50 years of experience performing with various musical groups and as a soloist.
For more information, please follow us on Facebook at “Full Moon Drumming and Meditation Circle.” Donations will also be accepted, and 50% of said donations will be shared with The Youth Club of Kingman, AZ.
