Goldilocks Mini Play In A Day Workshop

Join the ArtHub in downtown Kingman for this Goldilocks Mini Play In A Day Workshop from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The class will cover beginner’s theater including stage directions, how to characterize, following directions and cues. Students will learn the basics of performance, improv and teamwork while producing a mini play in a day! All levels are welcome; ages 5-10. Guided by Director Sidney Valdez. Short Story Fiction Writing Series Class

Join the ArtHub in downtown Kingman from 6 to 8 p.m. for a creative writing class for students who wish to learn new skills of literary expression and hone the skills they already have through peer and instructor review. In the six weeks, the students will read example short stories and work on several different fictional stories varying in length from 250 to 2,000 words. All ages and levels of writers are welcome. Beginner Children’s Sketching Series

Kids may come join Grama Jean at the Art Hub in downtown Kingman from 11 a.m. to noon, and learn the key principles of sketching. As a storytelling grandmother, Grama Jean enjoys drawing the pictures for each of her stories and loves sharing this talent with the children. The children will leave each class time with a completed drawing. What to bring: sketchpad, pencil and eraser. No experience needed. Geared towards children ages 5-10.
