BULLHEAD CITY – A pedestrian fatality is under investigation in Bullhead City. Police spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said the incident involving a crane truck occurred at 8:40 a.m. Monday, in the 1700 block of Highway 95.

“According to witnesses, the male pedestrian ran into the side of the oncoming southbound truck while attempting to cross the roadway,” Fromelt said. “He was transported to a local hospital by a Bullhead City Fire ambulance and then airlifted to University Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nev. where he was pronounced deceased.”

Fromelt said the 85-year-old victim was not using the crosswalk when struck. His name is withheld pending notification of kin.
