Golden Valley residents Chris Marie and Butch Meriwether gathered the donations during their annual Halloween and Christmas fundraiser to benefit For The Luv Of Paws, the domestic no-kill animal rescue and sanctuary. More than 1993 pounds of cat and dog food, and $2,622 was turned over to Founder and President DayLynn who established the facility for domestic animals that had been neglected, abused and abandoned in Mohave County, Ariz. Additionally, 66 toys and $209 were turned over to the Marine Corps League Detachment #887 and was distributed to local needy children in the Northern Mohave County during the Christmas season.
