Kitchen fire doused by LHCFD

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Fire Department personnel put out a Wednesday kitchen fire in Lake Havasu City. Crews responded at 7:15 p.m. to the home in the 2000 block of Barranca Dr.
“The occupants discovered a cooking oil fire, in a pan, on the stove,” a news release said. “The first arriving fire company reported moderate white smoke in the residence with a smoldering fire in the area of the kitchen stove.”
Firefighters doused the blaze in nine minutes. No injuries were reported though two occupants were assessed for smoke inhalation.
