BULLHEAD CITY – A Bullhead City woman who admits violating probation and possessing methamphetamine she intended to sell is going to the Arizona Department of Corrections. Brianna Nielson, 32, faces a 5-12.5-year prison term when sentenced by Mohave County Superior Court Judge Rick Lambert.
Nielson was placed on probation when convicted in separate burglary cases in 2014. Nielson admitted last month that she violated probation by failing to submit to urinalysis as directed on scores of occasions.
Nielson also pleaded guilty to possession of dangerous drugs for sale. Deputy Mohave County Attorney Cameron Patt said Nielson possessed about one ounce of meth when contacted by officers last July in the area of White Sands Drive and Swan Drive.
Patt said Nielson admitted being addicted to meth and that she engaged in sales activity to support her habit. Sentencing is scheduled March 22.
