KINGMAN – Mixed verdicts were returned Friday at the end of the first jury trial conducted at the new Mohave County courthouse addition in downtown Kingman. The panel spent 3.5 hours deliberating before concluding its consideration of evidence and testimony presented in the case of a Kingman man accused of scuffling with a Mohave County Sheriff’s sergeant during a 2018 dispute in Valle Vista.

The panel acquitted Greg Mack, 49, of the aggravated assault of an officer charge. The jury, however convicted Mack of resisting arrest, escape and criminal trespass.

Sentencing is scheduled April 12, before Mohave County Superior Court judge Derek Carlisle.
