Mayor Joins Local Pastors in National Day of Prayer

KINGMAN – City of Kingman Mayor Jen Miles (center, in blue shirt) is surrounded by many of the 12 pastors from 11 churches in the Kingman area who spoke during the National Day of Prayer Thursday.
The two-hour prayer experience was held at Kingman City Hall and attracted at least 40 worshippers from various Evangelical Christian denominations. Multiple prayers addressed persons and topics such as President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, U.S. Congress, the U.S. Supreme Court, the Armed Forces, Arizona Governor Doug Ducey, Arizona state, county and city governments (including Mayor Miles herself), public schools, colleges and universities, child trafficking, marriages and parenting, gender and role confusion, cancel and WOKE culture, abortion, poverty and homelessness, racial conflict, the news media and freedom of speech amongst other topics.
The event was sponsored by the Kingman Evangelical Ministerial Association which included, among others, Four Square Church, Family Bible Church, Kingman Christian Church and College Park Community Church.
