GOLDEN VALLEY – A deadly fire is under investigation in Golden Valley. Mohave County Sheriff’s office and Golden Valley Fire Department personnel responded Monday at 10:52 p.m. to the incident in the 4400 block of N Dragoon Rd.

“Upon arrival a travel trailer was found to be fully engulfed in fire,” said sheriff’s office spokeswoman Anita Mortensen. “After the fire was extinguished, a body was discovered deceased within the debris.”

Mortensen said the trailer was destroyed in the blaze. An autopsy is pending for gender, identity and cause of death determinations.
