Pandemic can’t keep Kingman from dancing

KINGMAN – COVID-19 cannot stop former gymnast turned dancer and yoga instructor, Sandra Romanski, from choreographing and encouraging others to express themselves through movement.
Romanski will be offering two dance classes for various ages at The Kingman Center for the Arts (KCA) in downtown Kingman. KCA’s first art education session of 2021 will commence February 16, and run through March 27 and be held at the ArtHub, 402 E Beale Street.
Romanski has a BFA degree in Performance and Choreography in dance. She has performed nationally and internationally in places like New York, South Korea, Turks and Caicos and Germany. Now she’s teaching two jazz dance classes at the upcoming Education Session at the ArtHub.
One of Ms. Romanski’s classes is Jazz Dance for ages 8-12 and is designed for dancers of all levels. “Through improvisation exercises we will focus on individual growth in jazz technique, musicality and dynamics,” says Sandra. “This is a fun way to build confidence all while learning to artistically express yourself!”
Ms. Romanski’s second class is for ages 13+ and a basic dance knowledge is suggested. Advanced dancers are also welcome. “For all my classes, m y goal is to provide tools that will empower my students to find a true sense of feeling at home within yourself and allow that to manifest into how you move throughout your daily life.”
Classes can be purchased individually (as a “one class pass”) or as a class series. For more information about Romanski’s dance classes go to;https://kingmanarts.org/classes/
