COVID-19 update: 63 new cases, four deaths

MOHAVE COUNTY – Late Wednesday afternoon, the Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified today of 63 new confirmed COVID-19 cases.

The 63 cases includes one Lake Havasu City death, a 70-79 person, from a case not previously reported. There are three other Lake Havasu City area deaths from previous cases. One was in the 60-69 year age range; two are 70-79.

There are 36 cases in the Bullhead City service area. There are 11 new cases in the Lake Havasu City service area (including one death from a case not reported before). There are 15 cases in the Kingman service area. There is one new confirmed case in North County.

Of the 63 new cases, there are 36 in the Bullhead City service area. Thirty-five of these cases remain under investigation. One is 11-19; eight are 20-29; five are 30-39; five are 40-49; four are 50-59; ten are 60-69; two are 70-79. The final Bullhead City area case is a 50-59 person who is recovering at home and is linked to another confirmed case.

Of the 10 remaining new Lake Havasu City area cases, (remember the 11th is a death that is not a previously recorded case,) all of them remain under investigation. One is 20-29; one is 30-39; two are 50-59; four are 60-69; two are 70-79.

Of the 15 Kingman service area cases, 10 remain under investigation. One is 0-10; three are 30-39; two are 40-49; one is 50-59; two are 60-69; one is 70-79. There are 4 cases recovering at home and are linked to another case. One is 50-59; one is 60-69; two are 70-79. The final Kingman area case is a hospitalized 80-89 person and the case is under investigation.

The one remaining case is a 40-49 person in the North County area. The case remains under investigation.

There are now1,334 positive cases in Bullhead City, including 59 deaths.

There are now 928 positive confirmed cases in the Lake Havasu City area, including 28 deaths.

There are 561 in Kingman, with a total of 51 deaths.

There are 59 cases in “North County,” formerly referred to as “Other” (composed of a number of smaller Mohave County communities,) 

There are a total of 138 deaths in the county from the disease.
