COVID-19 update: 30 new cases, four deaths

MOHAVE COUNTY – The Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified Thursday afternoon of 30 new confirmed COVID-19 cases with a wide span of age ranges.

There are also four deaths, all from previously reported cases. Two of them, one in the 60-69 year age range and one who was 80-89, are in the Bullhead City service area.  There is one death, an 80-89 person in the Kingman service area and the final death is a 50-59 individual in the Lake Havasu City service area.

Of the 30 new confirmed cases, 16 are in the Bullhead City area. There are 8 cases in the Lake Havasu City area. The Kingman area has 3 new confirmed cases and there are also 3 new cases in the North County area.

Of the 16 Bullhead City area cases, 14 remain under investigation. One is 0-10; three are 11-19; one is 20-29; one is 30-39;one is 40-49; two are 50-59; three are 60-69; two are 70-79. The remaining two are recovering at home and are linked to another case. One is 70-79 and the other is 90+.

Of the 8 cases in the Lake Havasu City area, 7 are under investigation.  Two are 11-19; two are 20-29; two are 40-49; one is 50-59. The final Lake Havasu City case is a 90+ person, who is recovering at home and is linked to another case.

Two cases in the Kingman area remain under investigation. One is 11-19 and the other is 60-69. The final Kingman area case is a 40-49 person, who is recovering at home and is linked to another case.

All three cases in the North County area are under investigation. One is 40-49 and the two others are 50-59.

There are now1,453 positive cases in Bullhead City, including 69 deaths.

There are now 987 positive confirmed cases in the Lake Havasu City area, including 31 deaths.

There are 616 positive confirmed cases in Kingman, including 55 deaths.

There are 68 cases in “North County,” formerly referred to as “Other” (composed of a number of smaller Mohave County communities,) There are 0 deaths.

Other/Unknown 13 (Addresses not known)

There are a total of 155 deaths in the county from the disease.
