Free drive-thru COVID-19 testing available throughout Mohave County

In Lake Havasu City

 Lake Havasu City and Mohave County are hosting a free outdoor drive-thru COVID-19 testing event in Lake Havasu City on Sunday and Monday, September 13 and September 14 from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the parking lot of the Lake Havasu City Aquatic Center, 100 Park Ave.

Pre-registration is available at https://www.doineedacovid19test.com/, but is not required in order to participate in the testing events.

Testing is available to 500 people per day, and is open to anyone regardless of whether they are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. You are notified of your personal COVID-19 test results within 3 to 4 days.

On the day of the testing event, please enter the drive-thru at the Aquatic Center as directed and stay in your vehicle. Appointments are scheduled to ensure the testing process runs smoothly.

In Bullhead City

The City of Bullhead City and Mohave County Public Health will be hosting two free outdoor drive-thru COVID-19 testing events on September 10and 12.

Residents in the Bullhead City service area (Fort Mohave, Mohave Valley and Fort Mojave Tribal) are urged to participate in this convenient and free testing event. Businesses are encouraged to test their employees at no cost to help keep our community safe. Parents are also invited to bring children for testing before the start of in-classroom for the public schools. A separate email is needed for each registered participant.

Testing will be held  Thursday, September 10th, 6 a.m. – 10 a.m. and Saturday, September 12th, 6 a.m. – 10 a.m. at the Bullhead City Justice Complex parking lot, 1255 Marina Boulevard.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has approved 500 people tested per day. This free testing is available to anyone with or without symptoms of COVID-19. The tests provided are self-administered nasal swabs, which is less invasive and more comfortable than Nasopharyngeal (NP) swabs.

On the testing days, registered participants will enter the drive-thru testing site on Alona’s Way off Marina Boulevard and stay in their vehicle. Appointments are scheduled to ensure the testing process will run smoothly.
