KINGMAN – The Bureau of Land Management reports full containment of the Ridge Fire that blackened almost 3,100 acres south of Pine Lake in the Hualapai Mountains. A lightning strike sparked the blaze on August 16.
Personnel continue patrolling the fire to protect against flare-ups. Some trail and roads are still closed to public access, but Hualapai Mountain Park has reopened.
