Mohave County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) Search and Rescue (SAR) Coordinator Sergeant Lester Tarkowski watches as SAR Bullhead Unit Captain Chris Morgan shakes Doctor Jerry Lakin’s hand after the doctor donated $15,000 to SAR. The $15,000 will be distributed between the four SAR units; Lake Havasu, Bullhead, Arizona Strip and Kingman. The MCSO SAR units have a continuing need for donations for their ongoing and future rescue efforts, various missions and training. MCSO SAR units are 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations that operate solely on donations and they do not receive any formal funding from the state, Sheriff or Mohave County Government. All of the donations to SAR are tax deductible.
