KINGMAN – No one was injured in a Wednesday motor home fire caught fire on Historic Route 66 in the Northern Arizona Consolidated Fire District north of Kingman. Fire Chief Jake Rhoades said personnel responded at 12:49 p.m. to the incident at milepost 63. “Responding fire companies found a motor home on fire with extension to the nearby brush,” Rhoades said. “The brush fire was approximately 1/2-acre and was moving slowly too the northeast.” Rhoades credited Battalion Chief Tim King with “quick decision making” in directing operations to prevent fire spread and minimize property loss.
