LAKE HAVASU CITY – If ever there was a year that needed holiday cheer, this is the one. Lake Havasu City will be illuminating its world famous London Bridge and Bridgewater channel once again this year with an estimated half million holiday lights.
November events follow social distancing protocols
Havasu Havik Grand Prix, Nov. 7-8
An epic two days of off-road racing UTVs, quads, trikes, and bikes will be held at next to Crazy Horse Campgrounds (1534 Beachcomber Blvd.) alongside the scenic Colorado River. This two-, three-, and four-wheel desert race event is making its debut in Lake Havasu City this year.

The largemouth bass has been called the most fun and challenging of all fish to catch. Visitors to Lake Havasu City can watch professional anglers compete in this exciting team championship with a grand weigh-in on Saturday, Nov. 14. Spectators are encouraged to bring masks, chairs, water, and snacks. Lake Havasu IMAC Miniature Radio Controlled Aerobatic Challenge, Nov. 14-15
IMAC? Yes, the International Miniature Aerobatic Club. Members are passionate about aerobatic operation of radio-controlled scale models of full-sized aerobatic competition planes. Maneuvers may include loops, rolls, spins, and hammerheads. Join the Desert Hawks RC (Radio Control) Club for a day of aerial exhilaration as remotely-controlled aircraft take to the skies over the Sterling Field RC Complex at SARA Park. There will be a judged freestyle competition during which pilots will show off their best flying skills.
Festival of Lights, Nov. 27 – Jan. 4
Now here’s a perfect opportunity to take that family Christmas card photo. For the 25th year, the London Bridge Resort brings out the holiday spirit and dazzles visitors and residents alike with the Festival of Lights. Take the family for a stroll under the London Bridge along the walkway, or take a boat on a night cruise through the Bridgewater Channel as over 500,000 lights set the water aglow. Free parking at the English Village or the London Bridge Resort and Convention Center. Illumination is from dusk to 10 p.m. nightly.
