COVID update: 98 new cases, six deaths

MOHAVE COUNTY – The Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff has been notified of 98 new confirmed COVID-19 cases reported Wednesday. There are also six new deaths reported Wednesday.

All 6 deaths are still under investigation.

Two of the deaths are in the Bullhead City service area.  One is 70-79 and one is 80-89.

Two deaths are in the Kingman service area. One is 60-69 and one is 80-89.

Two deaths are in the Lake Havasu City service area.  One is 60-69 and one is 90+.

Of the 98 new confirmed cases, there are 35 new cases in the Bullhead City service area. There are 31 new cases in the Kingman service area. There are 29 new cases in the Lake Havasu City service area. There are 3 new cases in the North County service area. There are 0 new cases in an Undetermined area of the county.

Of the 35 cases in the Bullhead City area, 34 of them remain under investigation. Six are 11-19; two are 20-29; four are 30-39; five are 40-49; five are 50-59; ten are 60-69; two are 70-79.  The final case is a 0-10 person, who is recovering at home and is linked to another case.

All of the remaining cases are still under investigation.

Of the 31 new cases in the Kingman area, three are 0-10; one is 11-19; four are 20-29; four are 30-39; three are 40-49; five are 50-59; four are 60-69; six are 70-79; one is 80-89.

Of the 29 new cases in the Lake Havasu City area, one is 11-19; three are 20-29; three are 40-49; five are 50-59; six are 60-69; nine are 70-79; two are 80-89.

The 3 remaining new cases are in the North County area.  One is 20-29; one is 50-59; one is 70-79.

Total positive cases: 16,868; total recovered: 10,407.
