KINGMAN – Kingman police say a disorderly shoplifter tossed stolen beer at convenience store employees on East Andy Devine Avenue late Monday morning. An arriving officer attempted to arrest Wade Crosby, 28.

“Crosby proceeded to throw an open can of stolen beer at the officer,” said Police Chief Rusty Cooper. “While being taken into custody Crosby was resisting, during which time he bit the officer’s hand.”

Cooper said the officer returned to work after he was treated for minor injuries. Crosby was booked into jail for aggravated assault, disorderly conduct and shoplifting.
