COVID update: 29 new cases, five deaths

MOHAVE COUNTY – The Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff has been notified of 49 new confirmed COVID-19 cases reported today. There are also 5 new deaths. All of these deaths are the result of previous positive cases.

Of the 5 new deaths, 3 are from the Bullhead City service area. One is 50-59; one is 60-69; one is 80-89.  The remaining two deaths are both in the Kingman service area. One is 70-79; one is 80-89.

Of the 49 new confirmed cases, there are 24 new cases in the Bullhead City service area.

There are 18 new cases in the Kingman service area. There are 6 new cases in the Lake Havasu City service area. There are 0 new cases in the North County service area. There is 1 new case in an Undetermined area of the county.

On the 24 new Bullhead City area cases, ALL of them remain under investigation.  One is 0-10; four are 11-19; four are 30-39; two are 40-49; four are 50-59; six are 60-69; three are 70-79.

Of the 18 new cases in the Kingman area, 17 remain under investigation.  One is 11-19; three are 20-29; one is 40-49; five are 50-59; two are 60-69; two are 70-79; two are 80-89. The final two Kingman area cases are a 60-69 and an 80-89 person. Both are recovering at home and are linked to another confirmed case.

All of the six Lake Havasu City service area cases are still under investigation.  One is 11-19; one is 20-29; one is 40-49; one is 60-69; two are 70-79.

The final case is in an Unknown area of Mohave County.  It is a 0-10 child and the case is under investigation.
