KINGMAN – A Kingman teenager faces a possible prison sentence for the rape of a sleeping woman in Golden Valley. 18-year-old Andres Meza Jr. pleaded guilty Tuesday to a reduced charge of attempted sexual assault.
Deputy county attorney Kellen Marlow told Judge Doug Camacho that case investigation began Dec. 20, 2020, when the now 23-year-old victim told officers that Meza raped her the previous day at a home in the 600 block of S Lochiel.
Marlow said Meza admitted having non-consensual intercourse with the woman while she slept. Meza face probation up to 3.5 years in prison when sentenced March 18.
