LAKE HAVASU CITY – A 10-year prison term has been ordered for a Lake Havasu City drug dealer. Punishment that Judge Doug Camacho ordered Feb. 24 for Robert Lathrop, 59, was the maximum under terms of a plea agreement.
Lathrop pleaded guilty to possession of dangerous drugs for sale. 16 grams of methamphetamine were confiscated during a search of Lathrop’s vehicle following a Dec. traffic stop in the 600 block of N. Lake Havasu Ave.
Lathrop also pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct because he was prohibited from possessing the .22-caliber rifle that was also located in the vehicle.
Authorities have said Lathrop admitted frequent sales of meth from increments of an ounce up to a pound.
