GOLDEN VALLEY – A Bullhead City man and another Mohave County resident were killed in a two-vehicle, T-bone collision on State Route 68 in Golden Valley Wednesday. The Department of Public Safety (DPS) said the crash at milepost 24 occurred just before 9:00 a.m.
“The 70-year-old driver from Golden Valley who was operating a white, 2013 Ford sedan failed to yield from the driveway of a restaurant while entering SR-68,” said DPS sergeant Kameron Lee. “While crossing the eastbound lanes, the Ford sedan was struck on the driver’s side door by a 2001 Oldsmobile sedan traveling eastbound.”
The driver of the Ford was dead at the scene. The driver of the Oldsmobile, a 73-year-old male from Bullhead City, was dead upon arrival at Kingman Regional Medical Center.
The names of both victims are withheld pending notification of kin.
