MOHAVE VALLEY – A recent traffic stop in Mohave Valley resulted in the arrest of a Bullhead City man for drug and weapons charges. The Mohave County Sheriff’s office (MCSO) says Matthew Neil Dimmick, 34, was a passenger in the vehicle pulled over in the 5400 block of highway 95 at 11:06 p.m. on Tuesday, June 22.
“A pat search of Dimmick revealed a glass pipe and a clear plastic baggie containing 11 grams of methamphetamine,” an MCSO news release stated. “A search of Dimmick’s backpack revealed a loaded handgun.”
The MCSO said it was learned that Dimmick is prohibited from possessing firearms and is on bail in an unrelated criminal case. Dimmick was arrested and jailed for possession of dangerous drugs and drug paraphernalia and for being in prohibited possession of a firearm during the commission of a drug related offense.
