Naloxone services to be expanded

KINGMAN – The Mohave Substance-abuse Treatment Education Prevention Partnership (MSTEPP) and the Kingman Arizona Youth Partnership (AZYP) are pleased to announce an expansion of services for the Naloxone distribution site.

Naloxone is a reversal agent for opioid overdoses that has saved thousands of lives in the State of Arizona and hundreds of lives in Mohave County.

Both MSTEPP and AZYP entered into a joint agreement to offer no-cost Naloxone to the community on February 1. Days and times of distribution were limited based upon COVID-19 restrictions. With the lifting of restrictions, the office is able to expand days and hours of service.

Beginning July 6 the distribution site located at 2701 E. Andy Devine Avenue, Suite 115 will be open Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
