MOHAVE COUNTY – The citizens of Mohave County can expect road maintenance during the week of August 23. The activity for each area is as follows:
Kingman can expect road shoulder repairs on Stockton Hill Road from Mile 8 to 14. Activity includes repairing potholes, mowing road shoulders, and making right of way repairs in the Butler area.
The Arizona Strip can expect road grading on Tassi Ranch Road and Mt. Trumball Loop.
Valle Vista can expect crews to repair potholes in their area.
Hackberry can expect road grading in the Greenwood Village area.
Wikieup can expect road grading on Back Road and Bogles Ranch Road.
Yucca can expect road grading on Coyote Wells Road, Chicken Springs Road, Daytona Drive, Trigger Road, Juniper Drive, and Gene Autry Road.
Golden Valley can expect extensive road grading to several roads: Santa Maria Road from Redwall Drive to Collins Drive, and Tonto Road from Santa Maria Road to Abrigo Drive; Indian Wells Road from Ronda Drive to Sinola Drive and Bali Hi Drive from Indian Wells Road to end of maintenance; Jade Road from Shinarump Drive to Cerbat Drive and Papago Road from Shinarump Drive to Hualapai Drive; Mobile Road from Highway 68 to Chino Drive and Maverick Road from Highway 68 to Burro Road. Golden Valley can also expect storm cleanup on numerous County-maintained roads.
Dolan Springs can expect road grading on Eleventh Street from Pierce Ferry Road to Joshua Drive and on Eleventh Street from Pierce Ferry Road to Cobb Drive.
Meadview can expect road grading on Gregg’s Hideout Road from Pierce Ferry Road to the park boundary. Storm damage repair will also occur in this area.
Mohave Valley can expect road grading in the Mohave Mesa Estates area of Fort Mohave. Crews will be mowing road shoulders and street sweeping on Boundary Cone Road and in the Willow Valley Estates area. Also, crews will be clearing drivers’s line of sight in the Willow Valley area and street sweeping in the Golden Shores area.
And Lake Havasu can expect pothole repairs in the Havasu Gardens area and street sweeping in the Lake Havasu area.
The County’s first priority is public safety. Storm repairs to maintained roads will be prioritized accordingly.
Please make a note of the work being done in your area and plan your week accordingly. Please obey posted speed limits and watch for workers and equipment.
