LAKE HAVASU CITY – At least one person was killed when a plane crashed during a take-off attempt at the airport in Lake Havasu City Sunday at approximately 4:10 p.m. Police said no one survived the incident.
A city issued news release said the single-engine Cessna was fully engulfed in flames. Fire Department personnel quickly extinguished the fire.
There are very few details at this time. Federal officials will investigate the accident.
