GOLDEN VALLEY – The Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) has released the names of the Mohave County residents killed in a Wednesday traffic accident in Golden Valley. Agency spokesman Bart Graves identified the deceased as Gary Stacy, 73, Bullhead City and Johnny Mehan, 70, Golden Valley.

Graves said Mehan was driving a 2013 Ford Fusion and was getting on State Route 68 just before 9:00 a.m. when he pulled out in front of an oncoming eastbound vehicle. The 2001 Oldsmobile driven by Stacy T-boned the driver’s side door of the Fusion.

Mehan was dead at the scene. Stacy was pronounced dead upon arrival at Kingman Regional Medical Center.
