Yard sale will benefit Morning Glories

KINGMAN – Morning Glories is being hosted by Annie’s Art Attic for the month of October. A fundraiser yard sale will be held at the Attic, 2575 Northern Ave., Saturday,October 24, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Raffle tickets will be available at the yard sale, and raffle items will be available for viewing.

The Morning Glories, chartered in 1961, is one of two volunteer groups of the Community and Family Interest Club of Mohave County. The focus of the group is to raise funds for scholarships to be awarded to high school seniors in the Kingman area. They are a non-profit club giving the majority of funds raised as $1,000 scholarships. The number of scholarships varies, for 2020 they gave out 17, $1,000 scholarships. They also donate to several charities within the county. Charities that have received donation in the past years include but are not limited to The Kingman Food Bank, Mutt Matchers, C.A.S.A. Program, and the Club for Youth. They also make and fill Blessing Bags for veterans.
