LAKE HAVASU CITY – A Lake Havasu City man has entered a plea agreement that will send him to the Arizona Department of Corrections for a methamphetamine transaction. Mark Lewis, 58, pleaded guilty April 20 to sale of dangerous drugs.

Deputy Mohave County attorney Rod Albright told Mohave County Superior Court Judge Rick Lambert that Lewis sold 14.2 grams of meth to a confidential informant for $200 during a Feb. 15, 2000 meeting at 1615 Countryshire Avenue.

Albright said audio surveillance allowed authorities to monitor the transaction and that the white crystalized substance purchased by the informant tested positive as methamphetamine. Terms of the plea deal require Judge Lambert to impose a 7-year prison term at a May 17 sentencing hearing.

Damn. Sad, because I know him well. Prayers for the family. His mother passed away, and my heart goes out to Mark. I hope he finds the Lord.
